FHE

Hey Everyone,
Well another good week. Last Monday we went over to that families house that I told you about last week (the Coker Family) And we had Family Home Evening with them. It was so much fun. I shared a spiritual thought from a Liahona it was a message from Pres. Monson. It was awesome for them to get to here the words of the Prophet today they really enjoyed it. Then we played this game called the flour game. What you do is take a cup of flour and you kind of pack it with your hands into a... pile ha ha i don't really know how to describe it. Then you put 1 block on the top (for you you would put a quarter lol) then you take a knife and everyone takes turn cutting some flour away from the quarter. The person who makes the quarter fall has to pick it up with there teeth. But first you kind of bury it so they have to try to find it with there lips then pick it up with there teeth and its really funny because then they have flour on there face and everyone points and laughs. It was awesome they were getting way into it even the mom. And they started like bumping the person who was cutting away the flour so they would knock off the block and stuff. They are doing so good. We are now officially teaching the whole family minus the dad who is a Muslim. They are all preparing to be baptized on March 19. The mom came to church on Sunday with one of the daughters so that is the challenge now in getting the whole family to come to church together but im sure they will this week. We had a baptism on Saturday. We baptized a kid named Abraham and he asked me to baptize him it was really cool! It was up in the mountains like that last time I baptized someone it was in a font in the district center but it was still really good. The water was kind of shallow and it took me 3 times to get him washed clean.. I mean to get him completely under the water but it was good. We were all teasing him telling him I had to really make sure he was clean haha. In church yesterday our branch president called for a branch counsel meeting for the last hour of church. So we all came and met in the chapel and he announced that our branch will be splitting at the end of March everyone was really excited about that. I bet president will just have us continue to work with both branches I don't think he will send another set of missionaries here because of the need for missionaries in other areas in the mission. Something I keep forgetting to tell you is about how next week on Thursday we will be going to Freetown. Elder Dickson of the area presidency will be coming to Freetown and he wants to have a combined Zone Conference with Freetown Zone and Bo Zone. So it will be really cool to go back to Freetown for a few days. i think we leave early Thursday morning (not this Thursday but the next march 3rd) at like 5 in the morning then we will just hang out at the office and have some training from the zone leaders that night. Then the next day will be the Zone Conference. Then the next day we will travel back. Its going to be fun. They said some Elders will be giving Instructions during the Zone Conference and the Zone Leaders think that I'm one of those Elders so that will be... stressful teaching with a General Authority listening to you. So Everything is going good here. I'm taking the trials one at a time trying to learn and grow from them. They have been plenty lately but we are hanging in there. We are having a lot of success and it is amazing. Thank you all for the love and support.
Elder Lancaster
