Teaching Love
Well... this week was good! The Baptism went very well! One of our candidates who is this young single guy just going to college was so excited to get baptized. We went and visited him right after the baptism and he was telling all of his friends that he was now a member of latta days! haha it was sweet. My companion and I had to sit down last night and really readjust our goals. Our branch needs some serious help. Big drama haha. So we are going to take a lot of our time and focus on visiting the member and prepare some lessons that we really think can help them. Before I came on mission Brother Nakashima (sorry about the spelling) asked me what I would be teaching while I was on my mission. So I gave the basic primary answer and was all... the gospel. And he told me NO! He said you are going to teach Love! I just kind of thought well that's weird and didn't really think about it. I cant believe how true of a statement that is! All I do on mission is teach love. Last night as we were planning on how we could help this branch everything kept leading back to Love that these members need love. anyways it was cool and made me really thankful to have such a great hometeacher back at home that knew exactly what he was talking about! So we are not going to be baptizing one at least in this branch for a while because it cant hold anymore Recent Converts. We have to strengthen the foundation first before we can start putting up some walls! anyways thanks for all the letters and support!

I wish you all the best in your new teaching efforts. If you can get the ward members to really care about each other, you will have given them a great gift. Keep up the good work.
