Transfers

Hello,

Well This week was pretty good. We are going to set a baptism date with brother steven tomorrow. It will probably be on Feb 13 so thats way good. My first week here we contacted this man named Peter Williams. We taught him about baptism that day when we contacted him. He is about 77 years old. He got so excited when we taught him and told us he wants to recieve the correct baptism. He is catholic right now. So we have been working with him we meet every tuesday thursday and saturday. He will probably be getting baptized that same day as brother steven SO COOL! I love teaching him because he gets so excited about the things we teach. He comes to church every week and know the book of mormon is true. Its awesome. His wife at first wasn't very friendly to us but now she loves us and even fed us the other day! she hasn't come to church yet and hasnt kept any of the commitments we have given her. But we are trying to find a member that can befriend her. We think with her that the social conversion is going to come before the spiritual conversion. lol... So transfers! I am still in Bo branch. Which I figured I would be. I'm excited about it though because I really like it here. I'm still with Elder Djanku. He goes home at the end of this transfer so that means I will be in Bo branch next transfer also because I know the area and the investigators. Im going to really focus and work on learning Krio as best I can this transfer. I hope I can learn a little mende too but that lang is tough! Elder tippets that was the other american in the apartment with me is now over in new london on the other side of Bo. And Elder Kargbo who is actually from freetown is coming into our apartment so I am now the only white person in the apartment. Its good because its not going to give me anyone to talk to about things in the states anymore. And I hope it forces me into the accent and the languages a little better. Having Elder Kargbo be in there will be awesome because it is his native tounge so he can help me alot! umm... Thats all I can really think of here. Hello to everyone in Starvalley! Sorry about the sad occasion thats too bad. I hope your all doing well up there. Did my mom go all the way to star valley or just to slc? If so good job getting her up there in the winter!
