Hey Everyone,

Here is a little shout out from sweet sa`lone. This week was really good. It rained quite a bit this week which was pretty weird. I caught a cold and lost my voice this week so that has not been to fun. Everyone has been laughing at me when they hear me speak Krio with my voice all messed up they say it sounds really funny. So we had our baptism yesterday it was awesome! Brother Bai baptized his brother in law Kabba Kargbo. Both brother Bai and brother Kabba got up afterward and bore really amazing testimonies. Kabba calls my companion Elder T! And he says it in this like deep voice its really funny. I'm excited to have some more strong Priesthood holders in the branch they really need it. Everyone here is getting ready for Christmas. Christmas is really weird here because its like a thousand degrees outside. Elder Lambson bought some Christmas lights and a little Christmas tree so we have them hung up in our apartment it looks way cool. We were all pretty anxious for last week to get over because now all we have is tomorrow and then the Christmas Conference begins. I saw on my blog that we get to eat Hot dogs and Fries!!! I didn't even know that! I'm way excited to see the Elders from Bo. Many of the ones that were in Bo when I was there last year are still there. Its going to be really fun. So as you saw on my blog we are putting on a Christmas program for all of the new members of the church and also for anyone that wants to come. What I heard is that the local Sierra Leone Television station is going to broadcast it. The station is called Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation. I'm sure they have a website or something and maybe they will have like a live stream or something. I don't know maybe there not that advanced here but maybe. So you should try to find it. Its going to be a really good program. Some of the Elders are going to be doing musical numbers and different things its going to be awesome. We also get to go Caroling in some hospitals so that will be really awesome. Its interesting because I have been thinking a lot about how it doesn't feel like Christmas here because its so different. But what I am discovering is that Christmas has its own feeling here in Africa. I have really been praying to be able to feel the African Christmas spirit and it has been amazing. People here all buy Goats or some type of other animal and they cook them for Christmas dinner. Its really going to be an awesome experience. Last Christmas I was in the MTC for all of the Christmas celebrations here and so now I'm really excited that I get to experience a Sa`lone Christmas. Well I love you all very much and hope that your having a really good holiday. Thank you for all you do.

Elder Lancaster
