So I made it to Freetown! So there is this guy named Marcus. He is a Sierraleonean And he works for the mission. Just like doing odds and ends things. So he drove the missionaries to Bo that were being transferred there. Then he picked me and three other elders up and brought us to freetown on wednesday. We didn't get here until about 9:30 at night. I love the area though. The first night was pretty rough because freetown is this huge city. And I have been out in Bo which is more of a village. But I am really enjoying it. They speak really deep Krio here I thought I wasn't going to understand anything or be able to speak at all. But I guess I learned better Krio in Bo then i thought because I haven't had any problem. My area is way cool. The whole area has a way sweet view of the ocean. I will be sending alot of pictures when I get the package with the mem card reader. The worst part of freetown is the whole place is built on a big hill. So you walk up and down a hill all day. I have one of the most flattest areas in the town though so i lucked out. Our apartment is way cool too. It looks like an apartment in new york city where each level is an apartment. We live in the middle one. Its not near as nice as the apartment im coming from but its not too bad. We don't really have running water it works every once in a while but we have electricity more often than i had in bo so that's nice! I'm enjoying like crazy I have eaten ice cream every day. And they sell frozen yogurt all over the place. and there are hamburgers everywhere that you can buy. To you it doesn't sound like a big deal but from where i came from im living very nice! lol. anyways I love it here everything is going really well! My companion is way cool. Elder Intsiful. He was a total thug back home so we get along really well. My whole district is like that i really like them. The first night when i got to freetown was really hard. I was having anxiety like crazy! but the next day i just buried my self in the work. You cant believe how comfortable i was by the end of the first day. I loved the investigators! I was doing well with my teaching and my Krio. And a lot of the people were impressed that i could speak some mende to them. I was receiving some serious blessings! I know it is because of the wonderful people i have back home who care so much and pray for me like crazy. Anyways thats all. Thanks for all the support.
